Knights of Columbus
St. Robert’s Council is part of an international Catholic organization providing fellowship among men who share a belief in Christ as our savior and recognize their duty to God, family and neighbor. Throughout the year, the Knights sponsor or co-sponsor events that demonstrate their spirit of charity and promote respect for Catholic traditions and values.
The council meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm in the Parish Hall. For more information, please contact kofc8964@stroberts.org
Boy and Cub Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 142 and Cub Scout Pack 142 have been at St. Robert’s for many years. These programs work toward building moral strength, character and good citizenship. By providing opportunities for outdoor activities, physical, mental and emotional fitness are developed. For information contact Cathy Geraci at gratzi89@hotmail.com.
Filipino-American Community
Composed of individuals and families who have emigrated and established roots in Bayside, this group is committed to active involvement in the life of the parish as well as to maintaining their cultural identity. Since its inception, they have made substantial material contributions to St. Robert’s. They have sponsored or co-sponsored a number of classical concerts and special liturgical events, and continue to express their commitment by sharing their time and talent with other parish organizations. The Community meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm in the Rectory basement. For more information, call 718-229-1083.
Girl Scouts
St. Robert’s hosts multi-level troops of Girl Scouts. The program offers girls opportunities to learn a broad range of skills, acquire new friends while gaining personal confidence and participate in programs that benefit the community. Contact girlscouttroop4279ny@gmail.com for more information.
